Our personal journey is both joyous and challenging. Life brings us things where sometimes we become lost and struggle.
During these times, we may need to reach out to someone who is caring and nurturing - someone who will listen and is knowledgeable.
These are just some of the things that you may find challenging and cause us to suffer:

Psychotherapy & Counseling (LMFT 52696)
I work with individuals (adolescents & adults), couples and groups both men and women of diverse ages and backgrounds. I help my clients create the lives they want as we address a wide range of emotional and relational challenges.
I work with a variety of men and women; specializing in gay, bisexual men and women, Transitional Aged Youth (16-25), and others who are seeking help in creating the lives they want.
My approach is always a mutual effort, meeting clients where they are in life, and helping clients strive to reach the growth and change that they hope to achieve. I integrate wisdom from the East, West and native traditions into daily life, clinical practice and teaching. Bringing together body and mind to be in service to help heal from pain and opening to growth; these are driving intentions of my work and life. It is my intention to help my clients grow in ways that increase their happiness and the quality of their relationships to self, others and life.
My approach is eclectic. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques from various theoretical orientations including Depth Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic and Gestalt therapy, Somatic/Body Centered Therapy, Shamanic approaches, and Mindfulness.
The most important factor in therapy is the relationship between the therapist and client. This is a unique relationship and with time and patience, a trust develops that helps the work go deeper. As a therapist, I hope to become your ally - someone you can trust and with whom you can feel safe to let down your defenses to work on core issues. I create an environment of non-judgment that encourages you to share your embarrassments and shame. I understand that your journey has taken many unexpected twist and turns. Therapy is a process, and from time to time, it moves at different rhythms. It is an honor for me to work with my clients – be it short or long term. I look forward to getting to know you and traveling together for a while.
